Michael Ostin is a veteran of the entertainment industry. As Senior Vice President of A&R at Warner Bros. Records, Michael was involved in signing and recording some of the most admired artists of the time: Paul Simon, Eric Clapton, Madonna, Neil Young, Fleetwood Mac, Green Day, Prince, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rod Stewart, Seal, Quincy Jones, Al Jarreau, Nile Rodgers, and Q-Tip. After WBR, Michael served as President of DreamWorks Records where he worked closely with the film, animation, and television divisions and their principals Steven Spielberg, David Geffen, and Jeffrey Katzenberg. In addition to his contributions in the music industry, Michael was an early investor/producer in the Tony Award winning hit Broadway show The Book of Mormon. These days, Michael manages the career of Q-Tip and legendary hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest and peerless singer songwriter D’Angelo.
