NIKI SHERROD

Did you know that the marriage of music and film involves much more than making a cool music playlist and trying it to picture? I’d love to discuss the extensive process it takes to get to the final result of what you see and hear on screen.

Niki Sherrod moved to Los Angeles from Nashville to pursue a career in entertainment…and experience a change of scenery. She started out as an assistant to a motion picture talent agent @ CAA. After a year, Niki moved on to Atlantic Records, working in the soundtracks division, and subsequently worked for all of the Warner Music Group labels, pitching artists for various film & TV opportunities. Since 2006, Niki has worked for Warner Bros. Pictures (now a division of Warner Bros. Discovery), where she is currently Executive Vice President of Music in both the theatrical animation and live action space. Niki has overseen the music on behalf of the studio for such films as PROJECT X, THE LEGO MOVIEs, GRAVITY, THE JOKER, JUDAS AND THE BLACK MESSIAH and SPACE JAM 2, among many others.
